Inade/Loki-Recordings
  • I somehow missed this album while exploring Inade's discography. Probably because it's a compilation of materials recorded during live shows and rehearsal sessions. Now it's come to me with a vengeance. With its bleak and ominous drones, hypnotic tribal rhythms of pulsating machineries, unsettling anti-melodies and solemn harmonies, voices and trance sing-songs. Inade is a classic, imaginative and audacious. And yet it's also deceptively simple on the surface, rough and unrefined. Undoubtedly one of those ambient acts that would be really worth listening to live.
